Founded in 1987 by Miss Carole Moseley, AAD is a friendly, thriving dance school based in Alnwick, with classes also held in Amble and Rothbury. 

Recently taken over by Joanne Burn and Emily Grahamslaw, AAD aims to offer all students a warm, friendly and supportive environment in which they can build confidence, learn new skills, make new friends and follow their dreams as they embark on their dance journey. 

 
We offer classes to students from 3 years old, Tuesday to Saturday, in RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap and Modern, Contemporary and Street Dance. Exams with the RAD and ISTD are offered from 5 years old upwards to provide structure, technique and discipline to classes and also to give students a sense of pride, purpose and achievement.

Annual performances at The Alnwick Playhouse are a highlight along with other performance opportunities throughout the year. 

Our adult classes in Ballet, Jazz and Tap are offered at the Alnwick branch and are a great way to make new friends, stay fit and have fun.
